
Janine Rook, visual artist at Koor Studio, and part of Maker Heights creative community, has lived on the Rame Peninsula in SE Cornwall since 2004. Originally from London, she attended Central St Martins and the Slade School of Fine Art.
Rooted in fine art and photography, her practice bridges digital technologies and analogue techniques drawing on unpredictable processes and abstraction to explore organic textures and metaphysical themes.
Her portfolio comprises small scale ceramics, experimental film and tactile assemblages often incorporating mixed media or found components.
